Workforce Elements.pdf - The 40 Workforce Elements are listed in this document, categorized by Employee Output, Retention, Not in the Labor Force, Employed Elsewhere, and Future Employees.

Workforce Root Cause Matrix.pdf - The Workforce Root Cause Matrix links the 40 Workforce Elements to the 25 Workforce Root Causes that can prevent these individuals from working for your organization. An 'X' in the table indicates connectivity between a workforce element and a root cause, verified by a literature review of research on the workforce element. An '*' indicates a possible linkage to other root causes since the workforce element often comprises individuals with characteristics represented within other workforce elements. See the notes on the chart for the possible linkages between workforce elements. The matrix should be printed on 8.5x14 paper for legibility.

Workforce Vector Strategy Map Template.pdf - The Workforce Vector strategic planning template, based on the balanced scorecard framework, is on the frontside of this two-page document. The second page lists the workforce elements and the root causes. The template should be filled out in the numerical order listed.

Workforce Workshop Preparation Sheet.pdf - The workforce workshop prep sheet provides a framework to gather current practices and draft future practices to aid in filling out the strategic planning template.
